What is Form 990-T and when is it necessary to be filed?

Form 990-T is the annual tax return required to be filed by nonprofit organizations with Unrelated Business Income (UBI) in excess of a specific annual threshold. If required, it must be filed in addition to the Form 990 being filed for the year, and it must also be submitted by the 15th day of the 5th month after the end of the fiscal year of the nonprofit organization.

If help is desired in preparing Form 990-T, please get in touch with one of our CPAs using the CONTACTS information provided.  Normal rates and terms of service apply; however, we provide a discount to nonprofit entities due to the charitable nature of their mission.
